In 2019, Dr. Mary-Therese Wyatt and Dr. Sean Stevens launched a venture to redefine healthcare. Starting in Victoria Park, their mission was simple yet impactful: prioritising patients and fostering a collaborative environment where doctors and patients work together for better health outcomes. With patient comfort as a cornerstone, Sean and Mary partnered with the Next Practice franchise to establish Next Practice Victoria Park.

In just three years, the practice grew from a small team of two doctors, one nurse, and one Patient Advocate to a thriving healthcare hub with 14 doctors, three nurses, a pathologist, and an admin team of ten. During the pandemic, the team made a significant contribution by opening the Vic Park Respiratory Clinic, vaccinating over 50,000 members of the public. Their efforts earned them recognition as the Best New Business at the 2020 Vic Park Business Awards and as finalists in the Telstra Business Awards.

In early 2023, following the closure of the respiratory clinic, the team embarked on a new journey, transitioning away from the Next Practice franchise to create Grove Medical Victoria Park. This transition allowed them to expand into the former respiratory clinic space, adding three additional consulting rooms and further enhancing their ability to serve the community.

In 2024, Grove Medical took its next major step by expanding to Cockburn. Grove Medical Cockburn was born with the vision of becoming a comprehensive healthcare hub for the Cockburn community. Our Cockburn practice offers the same high-quality, patient-centred care that our patients in Victoria Park know and trust. From our innovative facilities to our caring team, we aim to make Grove Medical Cockburn a go-to destination for healthcare in the area.
