Skin Cancer Services

Skin Check

Our comprehensive skin check appointments last approximately 15 minutes, covering a thorough examination of your entire body. This essential service is the first step in detecting any skin abnormalities early.

Dermoscopy

Dermoscopy allows our trained doctors to examine your skin with advanced skin surface microcopy. This technique is crucial for the early diagnosis of skin cancers, including melanoma, ensuring accurate and timely treatment.

Biopsy

If anything suspicious is identified during your skin check, we may perform a biopsy on the same day. The procedure is vital for confirming whether a lesion is cancerous and determining the most appropriate treatment plan.

Mole Removal

Mole removal at our clinic is conducted only when clinically necessary or upon patient request. Our priority is your health and well-being, ensuring any procedure is carried out with the upmost care.

Fees

At Grove Skin Clinic, we believe in transparent and upfront communication about our fees, ensuring you have all the information you need to make informed decisions about your skin health care.

Initial Consultation and Skin Check

Our consultation fee is $99 for appointments that last less than 20 minutes. This fee includes a comprehensive skin check and any biopsies that may be required during your visit. Our goal is to provide you with a thorough examination and immediate action on any concerns, all within a single, convenient appointment.

Excision Fees

Depending on the size and severity of the skin concern identified during your consultation, excisions are catergorised into three levels, each with it’s own fee:

Simple Excision: $220
Standard Excision: $270
Complex Excision: $320

These categories are determined by the complexity and the time required to perform the excision. Your doctor will discuss with you which category your excision falls into before you book your procedure. This ensures you are fully informed about the process and the associated costs.

Understanding Your Costs

The prices for excision may vary depending on the number of excisions needed and the complexity of the procedure. We are committed to ensuring that there are no surprises when it comes to your care. Your doctor will always explain the costs to you upfront, giving you the opportunity to decide whether to proceed with the recommended treatment.

Please note that there is no Medicare rebate available for these costs.
