Women’s Health

Contraception

We have multiple doctors who can insert and remove IUDs and contraceptive implants. Please book an appointment to discuss your contraceptive needs.

Menopause

Medicals

All of our doctors can perform drivers’ medicals for commercial purposes, senior driving medicals and pre-employment medicals.

Chronic Disease
Management

All of our GPs are trained in the management of long-term health conditions. These include high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, emphysema, arthritis, osteoporosis, long-term back pain and many others. We offer customised Chronic Disease Management Plans for existing and eligible patients.

Allergy & Asthma Management

All of our doctors are very comfortable managing asthma. Some of our GPs are involved in the Fiona Stanley Hospital Virtual Immunology Clinic, allowing early access to senior Immunologists. We also undertake desensitisation programs in the clinic.

LGBTQIA+ Healthcare

Grove Medical Victoria Park are very happy to support trans youth for general medical care but we are not able to initiate hormone treatment in people under 18 years of age.

We regret to inform you that at this time, we are unable to accept new patients seeking gender affirming care due to our current capacity limitations.

We want to emphasize our full support for the LGBTQIA+ community and their right to access the care they need. We strongly believe in the importance of gender affirming care and recognize the vital role it plays in the health and well-being of many individuals.

The current situation reflects a broader systemic issue in healthcare provision. There is a pressing need for more General Practitioners to offer these essential services to meet the growing demand.

While we are currently at capacity, we hope to reopen our books to new patients seeking gender affirming care in the future. We encourage you to check back with us periodically for updates on our availability.

Mental Health Care
