For your convenience you can create, change or cancel an appointment using the AMS Connect app or by
calling the practice.
We are open Monday to Saturday. Please note we are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays. See the home page side bar for exact times.
Grove Medical Victoria Park has an agreement with WADMS afterhours service. You can contact them anytime we are closed on 08 9321 9133.
We are located at 1009 Albany Highway, St James 6102. You will find us next to Priceline and opposite Aldi. There is a large car park with free parking available for two hours.
Many people have queries about their results. We have therefore arranged to send you a text once your doctor has seen all of your results. This text will either say you need to book an urgent appointment, an non-urgent appointment or that no action is required. Please note that you should keep your prearranged appointment even if the text says no action is necessary.
If you would like a copy of your results, there are several ways to obtain them:
– You may ask your doctor to specify that you are to get a copy of the results when the test is ordered.
– Your results are also available through your My Health Record 8 days after the test is performed.
– X-ray providers, I-Med Radiology, SKG & Perth Radiological Clinic offer an online portal. You can access your reports and images five days after the scan.
– You can book an appointment with one of our friendly doctors who can run you through the results.
Unfortunately, to ensure accuracy of interpretation and due to their heavy workload, our nurses and patient advocates are not available to discuss results. Due to privacy concerns, we cannot email results.
We have many different appointment types depending on the service you require. They are not all available online as some of them require previous agreement from your doctor.

We understand life can sometimes get in the way, so we understand cancellations happen. Please provide us with two hours’ notice so we can offer the appointment to someone else who needs it.
We will send you a confirmation SMS when you book, and a reminder asking you to confirm your appointment one day prior.
You can email our team at victoriapark.pa@grove-medical.com.au any time, and the team will get back to you as soon as they can, but please inform us if it is urgent. Always call 000 in an emergency.
If you need a prescription that you have previously been given by your doctor, you can order one online for a fee, saving you the time and cost of an appointment. Please note, if the doctor is not comfortable carrying out your request, we will let you know to book an appointment. Order repeat scripts HERE.
We recommend downloading the app ‘ScriptSafe’. When you receive an eScript via SMS or email, you can easily add it to ScriptSafe by entering the token provided or scanning the QR code. ScriptSafe will help you keep track of your prescriptions, notify you of refills, and provide reminders for taking your medications.
Your current doctor may refer you to another practitioner or specialist or order to help support manage your condition, and referrals can be discussed during your consultation. Repeat scripts can be requested online for a fee, saving you from having to book an appointment. Order repeat scripts HERE.
Please call 000 in the case of serious illness or go to your nearest hospital.
We accept payments by Credit and Debit cards. We do not accept cash or keep it on the premise. Please see our Fees page for more information.
We do not accept Private Health Cover; however we are always happy to print an invoice for you to provide to your insurance company.
