Drawing on years of experience as a General Practitioner, Dr Mary Wyatt brings extensive clinical knowledge and a commitment to patient-centred care. As the co-owner of Grove Medical, Dr Wyatt played an instrumental role in the practice’s expansion to Cockburn. Her leadership continues to shape Grove Medical’s goal of improving local healthcare and creating an environment where doctors and patients work together for better health outcomes.

In her spare time, she finds joy in gardening, spending time with her husband and their four children, as well as taking part in outdoor activities such as diving and snorkelling.

Professional Background

Before entering the medical field, Dr Mary Wyatt was a high school mathematics Teacher. She then earned her medical degree (MBBS) from the University of Wollongong, NSW. Additionally, Dr Wyatt holds a Vocational Graduate Diploma in Women’s Health from KEMH (2012) and a Diploma in Child Health (2014). Following this, she moved to Perth, where she completed her GP specialist training in 2016. She is also skilled in Mirena and Implanon insertions, as well as managing shared antenatal care.

Dr Wyatt’s work spans hands-on patient care, medical education, and leadership, reflecting her commitment to strengthening the medical community in WA and improving patient care. As a dedicated General Practitioner in Cockburn, she advocates for the health of her community with her involvement in the Western Australia faculty of the RACGP. She is also a member of the Australian Medical Association (WA) Council and Board. Dr Wyatt takes great pride in teaching and guiding registrars at Grove Medical Victoria Park and, in 2020, she became an examiner for the RACGP. Dr Wyatt is also passionate about integrating technology and is an early adopter of it, having used an AI scribe to improve patient care. Her approach to healthcare is holistic and patient-centred, ensuring that all her patients feel welcomed and comfortable.
